Baby monitor by Jonas Forsman

Baby monitor for IKEA which will give the parents some assistance when taking care of their babies. This is a basic model that is very easy to handle because it only has the necessary functions. No fuzz!

The design was focused on reducing parts, simplicity and safety. For example the antenna is put inside the flexible polyurethane top which also functions as a hanger for the baby unit. Picture above also including a big child, the designer himself.

Thank you for your comment, but I think the functionality of the IKEA baby monitor is sufficient for most parents. There is also a slight price difference if you compare your suggested product for US$104 and this one for US$25...
About the looks, you rather have a product looking like a flower then?

It seems to be missing on their website right now but it is showing in swedish tv commercial at the moment. I know that they sell it in IKEA stores in Europe at least, America I do not know.

Seems that it disappeared both from IKEA catalog and form stores. So, I have bought a simple walkie-talkie with VOX function instead. It is cheaper and it can be useful for other purposes, but as a baby monitor it is not so convenient as Patrull. Btw, Patrull works fine with old Nokia chargers as adaptors. :-)

Well, that's interesting. Too bad I threw away my Nokia charger. Would a multi-adaptor work on that?
